Shorter And Shorter...

This is the end... the end, my friend...

Well, great news for patriots, NeoCons, and lovers of democracy: According to The Weekly Standard, President Bush will be using a modified version of the Keane-Kagan plan for Iraq. (If you haven't readthrough the 52 page report, do so. The Executive Summary doesn't do the full PDF justice.) The plan is drastically different from the Baker-Hamilton proposal. It recommends an agenda for victory, an increase in the number of combat troops, and a course to rally the Americans one last time to support the cause. It was also co-written by a retired general and accompanied by many other former servicemembers - something you can't say for the Baker-Hamilton Commission. Though NeoCons are usually starry-eyed and unrealistically optimistic, Keane and Kagan lay out a three phase plan to first secure the Iraqi capital, offer monetary incentives within small communities, and finally engage in political talks between Sunni and Shiite leaders. This will most likely make or break my faith in a neoconservative foreign policy. When given an option between the two plans, an increase in troops (nearly guaranteeing me a third tour, this time in actual combat) and dedication to victory seems like the better option. We'll see what happens.

I was thinking the other day. For those who are pro-choice for the reason of "a woman's right to choose what to do with her body," shouldn't they support a woman's right to sell herself on the street to strange men? I'd think they'd also support a person's (or at least a woman's) right to sell their working organs to those in need of them. Just a thought.

Remember a few weeks ago when that black guy was shot 50 times by the NYPD at his bachelor party? Well, race-baiters are rallying in NYC, attempting to shut down Wall Street. The reason, the Black Men's Movement claims, is to bring an end to a racist police force. Funny thing is; of the five cops who fired, three were black; the policeman who shot first was black; and of the nine responding cops, six were black. Of course, the flier distributed by the rallying group only pictures the three whites. So much for intellectual honesty.
